Destiny Garden Herstory
DAUGHTERS OF DESTINY INTERNATIONAL™ is a faith-based organization and ministry conceived on July 15, 1997 in Atlanta, GA within the spiritual womb of our Founder/Chief Visionary Officer (Founder/CVO), Prophetess Dr. Kemba Jarena Lucas.
Founder Lucas was in a month-long consecration and supplication for God to reveal her divine destiny, when God revealed the divine design for Daughters of Destiny International. God commissioned and mandated Founder Lucas to birth Daughters of Destiny International (DOD) -- an International Destiny Training Center to train and equip Christian Girls and Young Women (ages 2-39) and their families for effective Christian Mission within their home churches and/or ministries, their community and the world.
Since its inception, DOD has established 15 (fifteen) Chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Peru, Europe and Africa; 7 (seven) Ministry Sites; 18 (eighteen) Ministry Components; 12 (twelve) Online Radio Programs/Podcasts; and 3 (three) Web Journals/Blogs as a part of its Internet Ministry Division. Our Founder and/or our Ministry Teaching Team, Destined STEPS, travel faithfully to institutions of learning, churches, ministries, and faith-based and/or community-based organizations seeding our time, gifts and talents. As DOD obeys our mandate to go to "whomever, wherever" God has ordered our steps, a Spirit of Excellence and God-Authority empowers us to equip hundreds of thousands annually.
In the Ministry Year of 2011-2012, DOD will use our cutting-edge books/curriculum to train Christian girls/women in communities of challenged faith. Our curriculum will address self-sabbatoge, familial spiritual DNA, supernatural power to obtain divine promises, familial dissension and destructive behaviors within and without the Body of Christ to be good stewards of the mission and mandate given us.
As we, God's Daughters, partner with other organizations and ministries, we have been able to further the effectiveness of our collective mission and mandate. May God strengthen our hands to continue fulfilling our Global Mission and Mandate -- to be a lighthouse escorting God's Daughters (and their families) to their Divine Destinies.
